Configuring Outlook for Microsoft 365
Before configuring Outlook for Microsoft 365, it’s recommended to make sure you have the latest version. To check, go to File > Office Account (lower left) > Office Updates. Click on Update Options > Update Now.
Adding an IMAP Account
- To add an email account, go to File > Add Account.
- After typing in your email address, select Advanced options > Let me set up my account manually > Connect.
- On the Advanced setup screen, select IMAP and enter your email password.
