Configuring Outlook for Microsoft 365

Before configuring Outlook for Microsoft 365, it’s recommended to make sure you have the latest version. To check, go to File > Office Account (lower left) > Office Updates. Click on Update Options > Update Now.

Adding an IMAP Account

  1. To add an email account, go to File > Add Account.
  2. After typing in your email address, select Advanced optionsLet me set up my account manuallyConnect.

  3. On the Advanced setup screen, select IMAP and enter your email password.
